As the consumption of fresh flowers becomes more commonplace, it has also fueled the development of the flower market, with each link from flower markets, wholesalers, and retailers to consumers interlocking, jointly giving rise to the floral economy under the name of "romance."
The significance of flowers in life lies not only in decorating life and beautifying the environment nor in serving as gifts to friends and family. Flowers can bring us a sense of beauty and courage to grow. Flowers are a way of life and also a philosophy of life.
Japanese horticulturist Yanagisawa Munemine said: People have their words, and flowers have their language. When we admire the beauty of flowers, let's not forget that they convey a philosophy of life through their beauty.
For example, the cherry blossom, Japan's national flower, blooms in the bright spring days, symbolizing bravery and wisdom. When cherry blossoms wither, petals falling one by one, it gives a sense of heroic and solemn beauty, reminding us of the brevity of life and urging us to cherish it.
Take sunflowers, for example. Sunflowers love sunlight, following the sun, symbolizing brightness. If you decorate your room with sunflowers in this snowy season, you can feel an intense warmth, dispelling the melancholy mood caused by the season.
There are also some flowers that, despite lacking vibrant colors and beautiful shapes, possess a strong healing power.
The cold-resistant orchid, known for its graceful appearance and refreshing fragrance, may seem delicate and fragile, but its upright posture tells us that in this life, even if we are in a noisy and tumultuous environment, we should not forget our original intention to "maintain an elegant and fragrant posture."
We should have an elegant posture, an unpretentious demeanor, and an independent and proud mindset. Only when one becomes independent and enriches their inner self can they become warm and lovely.
Flowers need care, and when we take care of flowers, we also reflect on our own lives and mindsets.
As flowers bloom, we also grow. If we love and cherish flowers, we naturally cherish our present lives.
Creating small handicrafts and decorations with flowers is not just to pass the time, nor is it because of loneliness; instead, it is a process of recreation filled with joy and anticipation when we spend time with flowers. You can stick petals on a notebook and write down your feelings for the day, creating a flower diary.
You can also use a bundle of twine or transparent tape to tie your beloved flowers together, then stick them on the wall, creating a fresh and natural beauty. You don't have to worry about not doing well, as long as you cut and make with heart, flowers will shine in your hands.
As long as you want it and dare to take action, flowers are no longer just decorations on balconies and desks; they can be given a new life through your skillful hands. No matter how you trim or handle them, flowers have no complaints because they know that only those who genuinely love flowers are willing to accompany them quietly.
Only those who genuinely love flowers are willing to spend their time and energy giving flowers another different life. In such moments, those who love flowers have a different life experience.
You see, flowers teach us many things, don't they?
